Mini Worm Suncatchers

These mini suncatchers are completely hand cut and assembled by me using traditional methods from start to finish in the UK. Pink glass is typically more difficult to come by as it is harder to produce, so I can’t always get hold of it to make these!

You will receive a random worm shape (one pictured) unless a certain one is specified. Please note if this shape is already sold I will let you know so you can choose another or be prepared. 

They measure approximately 6 inches x 3.5 inches. 

The glass is cut from sheets of stained glass, the edges ground down and hand painted with black kiln-fired paint. Then, once foiled with the Tiffany method, the pieces are soldered together with 40/60 lead solder and wire segments added. This piece was finished with a black patina to make the solder lines black. 

The price reflects the time it took me to make this piece and the materials used.

As this is a completely handmade product, please expect variations and imperfections in the design. The price reflects this. 

The suncatcher may come with white flecks of wax on it, but please don't worry! This is just due to a protective coat of wax I apply to keep the solder looking shiny. You can buff this up to shiny again and get rid of the white flecks by gently buffing with a soft cloth or toothbrush.
